A while ago, some anonymous commenter accused me of authoring the incredible LJ comments from "Mandy from HK" myself. A totally reasonable suspicion; after all, Mandy from HK and I had never been seen in the same place at the same time.

Until now!

Mandy from HK, Poman and Elleeson took me out for purikura and Chinese food this weekend. Thanks to the delightful Miss Poman (in the blue and white stripes) for scanning this purikura. HA!

We went to Home Feel restaurant in Causeway Bay. Fried prawns with roe:

We also had 100-year-old-egg, "salty egg," and mushroms with Chinese spinach and rice. Ain't no denyin' that 100-year-old-egg looks hideous, but it tastes just like a hard-boiled egg.

I wholeheartedly recommend Home Feel Restaurant (460-462 Jaffe Rd in Causeway Bay). The food was fantastic and the Feel was Home. So Home, in fact, that the matronly waitress came by our table to chide us for not cleaning our plates. She lifted the lid of the tureen containing our half-eaten chicken bone 'n' pumpkin soup and yelled, "I can't believe that you can't even finish this soup between the four of you!" At this point, Elleeson meekly served herself another bowlful and forced it down.

And finally, check out these glasses that Mandy from HK got for me out of a quarter machine. Her taste is impeccable!

Elyse,
I'm so surprised that we are actually on your LJ. YA! Mandy from HK is real!!!!!
And you know Elyse, if not you, I probably can't meet Poman and Elleeson! THZ SO MUCH! we actually become friends because of you. I have never imagined I can make fds through this way. And....I even have chances to take you out to ''feel'' more about HK. I swear that you're the nicest model in the world!

And......haha... the glasses look so funny on you. But it's not a TW souvenir.(Only the foods are) I just drew it in HK.(when I saw it, I thought of you and then drew one for you) haha. But, whatever, you just love it. And I will keep an eye on those funny things!!!!

P.S. I did have a GREAT GREAT NIGHT on that day, THZ SO MUCH! and thanks for you dinner and dessert. It's our turn next time!

Mandy
from HK

Never in the same place at the same time? Then who's this?

I'm not sure how much good that arctic camouflage shirt's going to do when it's draped all over a famous model. People will still know it's you, especially in the decidedly non-arctic HK climate, even if you put a bag over your head. That is a shirt, right, and not a dreaded combi-short?

It's a good thing that models are thin, or you'd never have fit inside the same barrel with Mandy. She was kind to share the latest development in portable saunas, a preemptive strike against all the food you were about to eat.

The fried prawns with roe look more like high school boyfriend skin than the streetmeat tofu did. Ewww. I had a roommate once whose skin was about that bad. In slightly more palatable news, it looks like you slathered your 100-year-old egg with Christ Cum real cum Kewpie.

What a shock to see a model with dollar signs in her eyes. The real shock is the Return of the Bird after years of absence. Never a shock is seeing you with bedhead even before you go to bed. That must have been one profitable, if strenuous, assignation.
